Choose level type
Why is finding the right level so important?
We offer ski and snowboard lessons for all ages (3 years +) and abilities. The lessons bring together people of similar levels and help them improve. All while building their confidence with the support of experienced instructors.
Our group lessons create a friendly environment. Everyone learns together, so it’s stress-free. We know that learning a new skill as an adult can be scary. So, we recommend adult group ski lessons to help you improve your skills in a social setting.
Teenagers can choose between our teen-specific lessons or joining our adult group lessons. But we recommend that younger teenagers join our FreeRide or Pro ride sessions. They’re fast-paced and fun, and the distance and skills they cover in a week are impressive. Older teens who’ve outgrown kids’ lessons can join our adult group lessons.
We don’t have set snowboard levels for kids, but children can learn with adults from age 13. Or take private snowboard lessons starting at six years old.
We advise you to carefully read the levels and watch the videos for clarity before booking. This will ensure you book the right group lesson for your skill level. But if you find yourself in the wrong group during the booking process, don’t worry. Our team will do their best to move you to a more suitable level. Our primary focus is ensuring everyone has a great time, and finding the right level is crucial.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is knowing my skill level important for booking lessons?
Identifying your exact skill level ensures you get the right instruction from the start. Whether you choose private or group lessons, proper level placement means faster progress, better safety, and more enjoyment on the mountain. You’ll build skills systematically without repeating what you already know or struggling with advanced techniques.
How do I accurately assess my ski/snowboard level?
Our level finder guide uses international standards to help you self-assess based on:
Terrain you comfortably ride (green, blue, black runs)
Turning technique (snowplow, parallel, carved turns)
Speed control and stopping ability
Previous lesson experience
Confidence in variable conditions
What if I haven't skied/snowboarded in several years?
If it’s been 2+ years since you last rode, we recommend choosing one level lower than your previous ability. Skills become rusty and mountain conditions vary. It’s better to review fundamentals and progress quickly than to struggle with techniques you’re not quite ready for.
How to solve problems during the delivery process?
Contact our 24/7 support team for help with delays, damages, or routing issues. Our tracking system also provides real-time updates.
I'm between two levels - which should I choose?
Always select the lower level. Mastering fundamentals and building confidence creates a stronger foundation for rapid progression. Our instructors can easily adjust the lesson focus if you’re advancing faster than expected.
What's the difference between beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels?
Beginner: Learning basic control, stopping, and first turns on green runs
Intermediate: Comfortable on blue runs, working on parallel turns and speed control
Advanced: Confident on black runs, refining technique for variable conditions and challenging terrain
